Can you believe it, the summer is almost over!  Classes at Centre Stage begin September 7th and Lauren and I are really excited to get the season open.

I have updated the "News" section of this website with a few reminders so please visit that section.  I have also changed a few classes to new times/days.

I can't wait to see all of you in dance class!

Centre Stage Studios has added a feature to help our returning dancers.  If you'll look at the menu to the left you'll see a new page titled "Registration." 

That's right, NOW you can register your returning dancer for her/his new classes on-line!  It is a convenience that we hope many of you will enjoy.


The TENTATIVE course schedule has been posted and classes are now being filled.  Remember, class size is limited and filled on a first-come/first-served basis so whether you want to rock it out in jazz, hammer it out in tap, or mellow it out in ballet you should register soon so your dancer won't be disappointed.

Those who ordered a DVD of this year's FABULOUS recital, Chasing Fireflies, can pick it up from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 12th at the studio.

The recital was truly great, the dancers were awesome, and the audience was almost at capacity!  Thank you for the Perks gift certificate and for being such a great dance family.

Centre Stage Studios proudly announces that "Chasing Fireflies," a look at childhood summers spent chasing lightning bugs across the backyard, will take stage at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 5th, 2010, in the auditorium of Kaskaskia College in Centralia. 

Advance purchase and reserved tickets for the performance are available beginning May 20th from the studio, 323 S. 11th Street, Mt.Vernon, 618-244-3710.  General admission tickets are available at the door.

The public is welcome.

I am so proud of all of you not only for your dancing abilities but also for taking time out on your Thanksgiving weekend to help others.
